A: Yes, you can purchase a membership at any open ticket window, and use it immediately for that day’s visit.
Q: Do I receive free parking with my membership?
A: Yes, all memberships include free parking, as long as you have your current membership card to show at the parking booth. If you do not have your current membership card, parking is $8, and there is no refund.
Q: Do you sell gift certificates for Memberships?
A: No, we do not sell actual gift certificates, but purchasing a Gift Membership is easy! When purchasing a Gift Membership online, you will be able to print a Voucher, which you can present to the recipient. If you are purchasing for a raffle and do not know who the recipient will be, simply enter “Gift” as the first and last names, and your organization’s address and phone number.
Q: Is my membership good for a calendar year or a year from the date of purchase?
A: Gold Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase. All Zoo Memberships are valid for 12 months, and will expire one year from the end of the month of purchase. Zoombezi Bay Season Passes are valid only during the Zoombezi Bay operating season.
Q: When will I receive my membership card?
A: For memberships purchased at the Zoo, processing at the Membership and Season Pass Processing office is required, and you will receive your cards that day. If you purchased your membership online, your membership cards will be mailed to you. Please allow 10 days for delivery. If you are coming to the Zoo before you receive your cards, simply print the Voucher from your confirmation email and bring it with you to the Zoo’s entrance, along with Photo I.D. This Voucher is good to use one time at the Zoo’s entrance until your cards arrive. All Gold Memberships and Zoombezi Bay Season Passes require a photo, which is taken at the Membership & Season Pass Processing office, located at the Zoo’s entrance. Your Gold Membership or Season Pass can not be processed without your online Voucher and Photo I.D.
Q: What happens if I lose my Card?
A: If you lose your membership card, simply go to the Membership and Season Pass Processing office to have your card reprinted for $7. You will need Photo I.D. to verify your membership status. Please note that without your membership card you will be required to pay $8 for parking.
Q: Does it matter who I name as my Second Adult?
A: Yes, the second adult must be the second adult in your household. If you do not have a second adult in your household, please call (614) 724-3489.
Q: What is the difference between a Named Guest and an Unnamed Guest?
A: A Named Guest must be an adult. He/She will receive their own card, may come to the Zoo on their own, and may bring any children included on the Membership. Naming a guest limits you to bringing only that person for the duration of the Membership, and you can not change or remove a Named Guest. An Unnamed Guest must be accompanied by a Named Adult or a Named Guest on the membership (not by a child). Unnamed Guests can be different on each visit, and can be adults or children.
Q: May I bring a guest in place of a Named Adult?
A: No; All memberships are non-transferable. If a named adult is not visiting, no one can come in his/her place.
