Career Day is a special one day event designed to give 7th – 12th graders an overall view of the various jobs available at the Zoo.  There are many different kinds of people working together to keep the Zoo running smoothly.  Zoo professions and the necessary skills and training needed for these careers will be identified.
 
Highlights of the day may include:
            Zoo staff as guest speakers
            Docent lead tour
            Handouts on zoo careers
            Behind the scenes tours

*Please note: Due to the high number if requests we receive each year for shadowing opportunities, Career Day has replaced our shadowing program.
