Franklin County Educational Groups
$2 each for students, staff, bus drivers and adult chaperones
Outside Franklin County Educational Groups
$4 each for students, staff, bus drivers and adult chaperones
- Rates are good Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Groups must pay admission upon arrival to the Zoo for the actual amount of people in the group. Payment must be made in one sum for the entire group by check, credit card or in cash (large bills only, please.) The Zoo will only accept purchase orders from schools within the Columbus City Schools System.
- All buses and vans with the name of your organization permanently displayed park for free, all other vehicles will be charge $5 each to park.
To guarantee your group receives an educational rate, we ask that you make your reservation at least two weeks in advance. Reservations can be made by using the
online reservation form or by calling (614) 645-3410 weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., after 5 p.m. an automated reservation line is available.
Please have the following information on hand when making your reservation by phone:
- Confirmed date of your visit and estimated arrival time
- School name, complete mailing address and phone number
- Contact person’s name
- Grade level(s) of your group
- Estimated size of your group: students, teachers and chaperons
Once your reservation is made, you will be mailed a confirmation packet and additional information. Please note the months of May and June are the most popular time for groups to visit the Zoo. If you have the flexibility to schedule your trip to the Zoo during another month, we advise that it may be to your benefit.
