As you venture further into the jungle, you’ll learn about the world’s second-largest tropical rainforest, The Congo Basin, and meet some of the region’s most intriguing residents. In addition to the thousands of animal species native to the area, the Congo Basin is home to around 10,000 tropical plant species!
OhioHealth Tip: Summer is all about fun in the sun. But too much time in the heat can be dangerous. On this tour, we’re getting familiar with the warning signs of dehydration and heat stroke. Dehydration is when your body doesn’t have enough fluids to perform its normal functions. Anyone can get dehydrated in the heat, but children and seniors have the highest risk. On our next stop, we’ll share some of the symptoms.
