rhino running

Meet Brian, the Zoo’s resident Greater One-horned Rhino!

This species came far too close to extinction but has fortunately been brought back! Still, there are only about 4,000 of these rhinos left in the world, meaning conservation efforts are critical to help them continue population growth.

Greater one-horned rhinos are solitary, preferring to live and graze alone for the majority of the time.
