It's a Girl!

A healthy Asian elephant calf was born in the early hours of July 23, 2025 to first-time mother, Sunny. What a great time to kick off our "baby registry!" Here are three ways that YOU can help us celebrate this important birth and support elephant conservation, both at the Columbus Zoo and around the world.

  • Visit the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
  • Symbolically ADOPT an elephant
  • Donate to the Zoo's Conservation Fund

No need to bring any baby items or gifts to the Zoo...Your greatest contribution comes from one of these options!

This baby registry is proudly presented by OhioHealth.
