Please be courteous to fellow guests, follow directions from our team members, supervise children in your care, and treat our animals, staff, and facilities with respect. Working together helps create an environment where everyone can relax, have fun, and enjoy everything our parks have to offer.

The Columbus Zoo and Zoombezi Bay maintain a zero-tolerance policy for behavior that disrupts the guest experience or compromises the safety of others. Guests who engage in inappropriate or unsafe behavior may be asked to leave the park without a refund.

Security Screening at Every Entrance

For the safety of our guests, team members, and animals, all visitors enter through EVOLV security screening systems.

These modern screening systems allow guests to walk through without routinely stopping to remove personal items, helping create a faster and more convenient arrival experience. In some cases, guests may be asked to complete additional screening by a member of our Safety and Security team.
