POWELL, OH – The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is pleased to announce the appointment of B. Keith Speers, Chief Executive Officer of Consulting Without Limits, to its Board of Directors.

"Keith has spent his career helping organizations think strategically, strengthen operations, and prepare for exciting new opportunities," said Tom Schmid, President and CEO of the Columbus Zoo. "That experience will bring valuable perspective to our Board as we continue shaping the Zoo’s future."
Speers' experience will support the Board's ongoing work to advance the Zoo's long-term vision, strengthen organizational stewardship, and position the organization for continued success.

Speers is Chief Executive Officer of Consulting Without Limits, a national consulting firm specializing in organizational transformation, strategic growth, change management, and business turnarounds. An entrepreneur and business strategist for more than three decades, he has built, scaled, acquired, and successfully exited multiple companies while advising organizations ranging from startups and nonprofits to Fortune 100 corporations. His work focuses on helping leaders navigate complex challenges, strengthen operations, and achieve sustainable growth.

A longtime supporter of wildlife conservation, Speers brings extensive experience in organizational leadership, governance, financial stewardship, communications, and strategic planning. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations build stronger cultures, improve performance, manage risk, and position themselves for long-term success. He has also served on several nonprofit and community boards, providing leadership in ethics, fundraising, organizational development, and long-range planning.
