Donors to the Columbus Zoo are the bread and butter of our animal care, education and conservation efforts in our community and beyond.
- Year-long complimentary admission is our favorite way of thanking our gift recognition society donors, who receive admission cards in the mail and are encouraged to visit year-round to see the breadth and depth of positive impact they’re making at the Zoo.
- Gifts to Keepers Club, Colo Society and the President's Colo Council are 100% tax deductible and directly fund the Zoo’s mission work: animal care, conservation, and education.

President's Colo Council
Connect People and Wildlife
Members of the Colo Council advise and share insights with the Columbus Zoo. Through a series of intimate dinners with our President and CEO, VIP events, and other impactful engagement opportunities, this group will help drive the Columbus Zoo mission of empowering people and saving wildlife forward.
Members of the Colo Council receive a Family Plus membership as a thank you as well as a designated staff liaison to better connect them to programs, animals and special events that inspire them to support the Zoo’s mission.
Colo Society
Lead and Inspire
Donors at this level support the Zoo's top initiatives, such as the nurturing and breeding programs for western lowland gorillas. These programs have gained global recognition for their valuable contributions to understanding the species, originating from the world's first gorilla born in human care, Colo, who holds the record as the longest-living individual. Our society honors these generous donors by bearing Colo's name, signifying their transformative impact on the Zoo, much like Colo's legacy.

Keepers Club $500+
As a Keepers Club member, you identify yourself as a community member passionate about connecting people and wildlife. Your funds create experiences that bond families, inspire students, advance conservation and spark lifelong appreciation for animals.
Members of the Keepers Club receive a Family Plus membership as a thank you for leading and inspiring others to save wildlife in wild places.
