This membership includes up to two named adults in the same household, plus up to six children or grandchildren (age 18 and under). Even Better: It also covers up to two additional guests—named or unnamed—so there’s always room for a friend, neighbor, or favorite plus-one to join the adventure.

This membership helps remove financial barriers so more families can experience the magic of the Columbus Zoo. Membership Info and Discount
- Memberships are listed with the online discount of $5 off regular price. This online price is not available if you purchase your Membership in-person at the Zoo.
- All memberships are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- You must be a current Franklin County, OH, resident to qualify for the Franklin County rate.
Valid for 12 months from date of purchase
Cannot be shared or used by individuals not listed on the membership

Ride and Animal Feeding Information
- Animal feedings, like our popular giraffe feeding, are only offered seasonally. Daily schedules may change based on weather, giraffe participation, etc.
- Some rides at the Columbus Zoo and Zoombezi Bay have height and weight restrictions.

We are committed to saving species worldwide through conservation action, education, science, becoming a trusted conservation resource to the community, and modeling environmental sustainability.
We are proud that when a member visits, we know that these visits are benefiting animals in their native range.
Making the Most of Your Membership and FAQ
Family Memberships Include:
- Admission for two named adults in the same household
- Admission for up to six dependent children OR grandchildren (under age 18) per visit
(Due to system limitations, we can only allow one group per membership—children OR grandchildren, not both) - Family+ and higher tiers also include guest options—great for bringing friends, extended family, or caregivers.
How It Works
- Your membership activates immediately upon purchase.
- Use your digital membership card at the gate—no need to wait for anything in the mail.
- If your membership includes guests, they can be named or rotating depending on your plan.
Important Reminders
- Children and grandchildren must be listed as dependents of the named adults on the membership.
- Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable beyond the once-per-year name change.
- Digital cards can be downloaded to your smartphone, and no ID is required at the gate.

Why Do Franklin County, OH, Residents Receive a Discount?
Franklin County, OH residents graciously support the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium through a property tax levy that voters approved in 2015. As a thank you, the Zoo offers discounted admission and membership rates to all Franklin County residents.
Franklin County Zoo guests will be asked to provide a valid driver's license, state-issued ID, or a current utility bill to receive the discounted pricing. When purchasing online, the billing address of the purchaser must be in Franklin County to qualify.
