Wild Learning Awaits: Plan Your Perfect School Trip!

School trip programs at the Columbus Zoo allow students to explore wildlife through self-guided experiences and interactive learning. With resources designed to align with Ohio's academic standards, educators can lead their students through immersive habits, focusing on topics like animal adaptations, conservation, and ecosystems. On select days, live animal presentations are available to further enhance the learning experience, showcasing the Zoo's commitment to wildlife education and conservation.

Fall and spring are ideal times to plan your field trip, as the mild weather provides an optimal outdoor learning environment. These seasons offer a unique opportunity for students to engage more deeply with the habitats and participate in tailored, curriculum-aligned activities thatmake the Zoo a natural extension of the classroom.
