POWELL, OH – Zoombezi Bay, Central Ohio’s premier waterpark, is excited to announce the appointment of three accomplished leaders to its Board of Directors: Tim Wilson, executive director of Destination Delaware; Scott Dring, president and CEO of Visit Dublin; and Tony Collins, president and CEO of the YMCA of Central Ohio.
“Tim, Scott, and Tony each bring a wealth of expertise in tourism, community development, and organizational leadership,” said Anthony Sabo, vice president of Zoombezi Bay. “Their combined experience will be instrumental as we continue to grow Zoombezi Bay as a top-tier entertainment destination while also advancing the Columbus Zoo’s mission of Empowering People. Saving Wildlife.”

Tony Collins
Tony Collins has spent more than three decades leading initiatives that strengthen the wellbeing of Central Ohio families. As president and CEO of the YMCA of Central Ohio, he and his team serve more than 220,000 residents annually, focusing on youth development, healthy living, and housing stability. Collins’ vision centers on creating strong, inclusive communities where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Scott Dring
With more than 30 years in the travel and tourism industry, Scott Dring has been a driving force in elevating Dublin as a destination since joining Visit Dublin in 2001. His career includes senior leadership roles with the Ohio Tourism Division, Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Travel Industry Association of America. Dring holds the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) designation, has been honored with the Paul Sherlock Award—the highest recognition in Ohio’s travel industry—and actively serves on several boards and advisory councils across Central Ohio.

Tim Wilson
Tim Wilson leads Destination Delaware County, where he oversees efforts to position Delaware County as a thriving tourism destination, generating more than $2.2 billion in annual revenue. A proud graduate of The Ohio State University and its LEAD program, Wilson brings a strong background in business, real estate, and civic engagement. His service on multiple boards, both past and present —including the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, One Delaware, the Pickaway County Airport Authority and Haven House of Pickaway County —reflects his commitment to economic vitality and community enrichment.
Zoombezi Bay is Ohio’s largest water park, attracting nearly 400,000 guests this past summer from all 50 states. The waterpark provides family fun but also helps to promote the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s vital conservation, education, and animal care efforts in Central Ohio and around the world. In addition, Zoombezi Bay serves as a major economic driver for the Columbus region, bringing tourism dollars and supporting local businesses. The addition of these three board members will help strengthen this impact for decades to come.
